The impromptu visit of the Pece-Laroo Division Member of Parliament got many vendors on their toes as the legislator elegantly walked his way into the market.
Amidst cheers, praise and dance, Fr. Onen made a stop over at the market where he addressed the numerous clusters of vendors.
In a wrap of his visit, the visibly jolly legislator injected 10 million shillings to the main market vendors association, 2 million shillings to the elder persons association and another 1million to the streets gangs - the old men and women who labour to keep our city clean.
He cautioned the vendors and those present to teach their kids with their respective trades they are engaged in so that the kids can gain life skills earlier so they can take ownership of their life, lives and livelihood.
