Lt. Gen (Rtd) Charles Otema Awany, NRM Secretary General Todwong and family are mourning the death of their beloved brother and son, ASP Kilara Ceaser Awany.
Ceaser, who was serving as a Superintendent in the Uganda Prisons Service, died on Wednesday, 30 September 2026, prompting an outpouring of tributes from colleagues, workmates, friends and family members.
ASP Kilara Ceaser Awany passed away after a two-year battle with complications arising from injuries sustained in a motor accident.
According to the family, Ceaser’s remains will be laid to rest on Saturday, 3 October 2026, in Gulu City.
May the soul of Ceaser rest in eternal peace.
