Police in Omoro District are hunting for Obua Ivan, 20, accused of killing his father, Ocena Santos, 47, following a heated argument with his wife.
The incident happened on April 9, 2026, at Nyekorach Cell, Omoro Town Council.
Santos had been drinking at his wife's bar and returned home around 9pm, sparking another row. Ivan intervened, warning his father to stop, but Santos wouldn't listen.
A scuffle ensued, and Ivan allegedly punched Santos in the neck, causing him to fall unconscious.
According to police reports, Santos died before reaching hospital. A postmortem was conducted, and investigations are ongoing while Ivan remains at large.
The case of murder by assault has been registered at Omoro CPS CRB 250/2026.
