Its just days to the first edition of The Face Of Gulu Grand Finale. The beauty pageant will be running under the theme 'Empowering Covid-19 Child Mothers'.
The first edition of the pageant will focus on advocating for the Child Mothers.
The event runs through the December holiday and will be taking place at Bomah Hotel Gulu.
According to Eng Olanya Olenge Tonny, the CEO Nile Media Group, the event starts with a 3 days Gulu fashion week from Thursday 16th to Friday 18th December 2021 at Bomah Hotel Gardens.
The event will climax on Sunday 19th December 2021 with a Poolside runway, then red carpet grand entry to the crowning Gala Dinner at The elephant hall in Bomah hotel.
The Face Of Gulu contest was launched in November before rolling out for auditions and boot camps.
At least 11 contestants are currently in a week long boot camp and engaged in activities towards achieving the major objective of the event while waiting to tussle for the crown.
The Prize award is USD 1000 to the Queen who will be holding the crown for the Face Of Gulu for the next one year.
The Nile Events Creative Manager Victoria Brandy Acen Has told this website of a possibility to have on board Sheebah and Lucky mbabazi.
Brandy also hinted on the 3 awards to be Given at the Red Carpet dubbed Grand Finale #Education Excellence Award, Nile Peace Award, Girl Child Empowerment Accolade.
Top Northern Uganda entertainers who will be gracing the event are; Eddy Wizzy, Destiney Music, DJ Joel Fresh, Mc kash, Papa Louis Lino and Abraham Prince.
