Ex-LRA Commander Onen Kamdulu Joins NUP, Appointed NUP Mobilizer District Level

Former Lord's Resistance Army commander Onen Alfred Kamdulu has officially joined National Unity Platform.

In 2007, the 49 years old was convicted for aggravated robbery and served nine years in jail.

In 2017, the same Kamdulu was again arrested and charged over aggravated defilement after defiling a five year old girl from Layibi Central sub ward in Pece division then.

According to the current acting NUP coordinator and Mobilizer in the Northern Uganda, Sebastian Sebi Ogoni, he has been appointed him as NUP mobilizer at the district level.

Sebbastian, however called upon other former LRA fighters who have returned home to feel free and join the party.

"Today has been yet another great progress for our struggle as we welcome former LRA commander Col Onen Kamdulu to national unity platform party, we call upon other former LRA fighters who have returned home to feel free to join Nup party, this is the only way we can remove dictator m7 and the cartel of his looters, by the power invested upon me as a regional coordinator and mobilizer I have appointed col onen kamdulu as  nup mobilizer at the district level." Sebbastian posted.
