Rwandan Gospel Artist Kizito Mihigo Commits Suicide, Found Dead In Police Cell

Prominent Rwandan gospel singer Kizito Mihigo has been reported dead in Ramera police cell in Rwanda after allegedly committed suicide after three days after his arrest. Kizito ended his life at a tender age 38 after living a miserable life in prison.

However, it is noted that In February 2015, he was sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment after being convicted of planning to murder President Paul Kagame, inciting hatred against the government and threatening state security and later released on 15th September 2018 but Rwanda authorities arrested him again last week with two other suspects trying to cross into Burundi and alleged that he was going tanti-Rwanda Rwanda rebel groups.

According to the Rwanda press release statement, the singer committed suicide and his lifeless body was found hanging on Monday morning in Ramera police cell.
