Nigerian singer Rudeboy has revealed what is really affecting the growth of Uganda's entertainment industry from becoming as powerful as the Nigerian entertainment industry.
According to the Winning hitmaker, Uganda's media channels and television stations put much of their focus on promoting artists' beef rather than promoting artists and the culture.
This comes when he was on a live interview with Uganda's Tiktoker and content creator Simpo Gladys to confirm his performance in Gulu City on 21st of December at Acholi Inn Hotel.
He lamented that the last time he came to Uganda he found media channels and television stations busy promoting the wrangles between Uganda's top artists, Jose Chameleone and younger brother Weasel while Navio was also in a serious fight with someone else.
"The last time I was in Uganda was three years ago and that was at Lugogo Cricket Oval. I noticed something because I stayed in Uganda for two days before my show but there is something I notice. Your media in Uganda are more focused on the artist's beef than promoting the music and the culture." He stated.
"When I arrived in Uganda, I had a press conference and what I experienced was watching local channels and TV stations showing artists having beef with each other. Let me show the one I witnessed was Jose Chameleone and brother Weasel and also Navio with someone else." He added.
