Renowned disk joker, DJ Timo whose real name Otim Andrew has died aged 30 after several years of fight against the deadly disease. Confirmed by his wife, Cavine Aloyo.
He was born on the 26th April 1992 and died on 12th may 2023. Otim died at 30, leaving behind three children with his wife, Cavine Aloyo.
Aloyo confirmed the death of her husband saying the death occurred at around 8:00am from the deceased village of Wang-gweng, Madi-Opei in Lamwo district where he was staying after leaving Mulago cancer center.
According to Aloyo, the deceased battled with cancer since 2019 before he was diagnosed with cancer from Mulago. She further attributed the worsening of the cancer that killed Timo to his arrest and detention that left him with no proper care.
She further urged friends, and well-wishers to stand with her in the trying moment that they are going through.
Dj Timo previously worked as a deejay in Karamela Gardens, Oasis hotel, among others before he started his own business of loading songs, movies along Pajule road in Pader town.
