Celebrated local musician Opiyo Twogweno and Luo Revolution Dance Crew have narrowly survived death after getting involved in a terrible road accident.
The incident occurred when Opiyo Twogweno was traveling in a Noah car together with Luo Revelation Dance Crew while going for a performance at a traditional marriage in Lamwo District.
The news was confirmed by Luo Revolution Dance crew head, Opiyo Oscar who took to Facebook ''worse Sunday as we Luo Revolution Dance Crew and Opiyo Geoffrey Twogweno and Brenda Pa'Rose got involved in an accident on our way to perform in refugees camp (Lamwo) on Sunday at 5 p.m.. We thank God and the driver for making a quick decision, all 8 of us made it out alive though two with some injuries but minor. Amen."
While speaking to Oscar, he told the website that the car's brake failed to work and the car overturned while still on their way to Palabek though they later managed to travel after the car was fixed by mechanics.
He however, said Opiyo Twogweno and Brenda Pa'Rose who is one of the female dancers survived with minor injuries.
