Acholi Province bus carrying pupils and teachers from Favour of God Primary School in Gulu City was involved in a road accident along Gulu- Kampala highway. Pupils and teachers were returning from an academic trip in Entebbe.
The accident occurred between Dima and Karuma, Kiryandongo District when an elephant surfaced from the bush and jumped in front of the bus last evening at around 8:30pm.
According to the reports, the driver sustained minor cuts and nursing injuries from home meanwhile teachers and pupils who sustained injuries were rushed to Lacor hospital.
