The 2nd Deputy Prime Minister Gen Moses Ali is grieving the death his beloved wife Mrs Sarah Ali. Mrs Sarah died on Monday 8th January 2024 from Medical hospital in Kampala.
According to a statement released by prime minister Rt Hon Robinah Nabbanja on behalf of the Office of the Prime Minister, Sarah Ali died from Medipal Hospital in Kampala at around 4pm.
“With deep sorrow, I announce the death of Mrs Sarah Ali, wife to Rt. Hon Gen (retired) Moses Ali, the second deputy prime minister and deputy leader of government business in parliament,” the prime minister said in a Monday statement.
The body of the deceased has already arrived in Adjumani for burial and will be laid to rest today in the afternoon.
Sarah Ali becomes Moses Ali’s other wife to rest after having lost another wife Aisha Ali who died in October 2011 at the age of 51 years.
Gen Moses Ali has also recently been frail with movements in and out of the hospital receiving treatment and has previously been reported dead which the family refuted as untrue reports.
