Renowned Ugandan rapper Judas Rapknownledge revealed that he brought back hope to many who thought hip hop was no more in Northern Uganda after the late Lumix Da Don passed away.
During an interview with host Marie Stalvey of Gulu8 Tv, the African Warrior hitmaker narrated that he decided to fit in the late Lumix shoe forcefully because he had seen his people and hip hop lovers in Northern Uganda and Uganda at large had lost hope in the genre.
"Ever since Lumix Da Don left, people were losing hope. Everybody was like we don't have somebody to represent us, bridge the gap and can wear his shoe. So I was like my feet is big enough to fit in his shoe and take it from where he left. Judas said.
Previously, Judas Rapknownledge was ranked No.5 in the list of top best rappers in the African continent.
He, however, stated that when he just started his music journey a lot of people criticized him both positively and negatively which he used as fuel.
"You know it's been long since 2012 where I blow up everybody was like waoo this nigga is hard. So I came through, started doing my song and people were criticizing both two sides (positive and negative) and I use to use it as fuel to hold me stronger. he concluded.
