Virgil Abloh passed away on November 28th, 2021 in Chicago, Illinois.
For over two years, Virgil battled an aggressive rare form of cancer cardiac angiosarcoma. He chose to endure his battle private since his diagnosis in 2019 while undergoing numerous medical treatments.
At the time of his death, Virgil Abloh was Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton menswear collection beginning in 2018 as well as the Chief Executive Officer of Off-White.
