Ugandan comedy star Dr. Hillary Okello is set to take his laughter beyond borders, delivering jokes inspired by his background, personal experiences and everyday life.
Okello, who left medicine to pursue comedy, draws inspiration from his life experiences and the challenges of performing on stage. He is also one of Uganda’s most travelled stand-up comedians.
The Africa’s Doctor of Comedy took the good news to social media, announcing: “Australia, see you in February 2027.”
Meanwhile, Okello did not disclose the venue or specific date for the show, but said he will be performing in Australia in February next year.
Audiences in Australia can expect an authentic performance rooted in Okello’s personal experiences and unique comedic perspective.
