After being misinformed and misguided by those around him about West Nile, Acholi Lango and Karamoja (WALK), celebrated Northern Uganda musician and presidential advisor Bosmic Otim has finally joined the organisation in fighting for the right of fellow creatives in the region.
However, Bosmic Otim upon his return from the exile, he was misled about the formation of the non-profit organisation in Northern Uganda, forcing him to start fighting the initiative.
Appearing during the Walk meeting last week at Acholi Inn hotel, Bosmic Otim as a new member narrated that he never knew that walk was coming to fight for their rights (creatives).
He further explained that after realising the vision of the organisation, he decided to join it immediately.
"I didn't know that WALK was actually coming to fight for our rights in the Northern sub-region''.
He also applauded the director of operation wealth creation madam Sylvia Owori Damalie for not giving up on him after all the quarrels and attacks he made on her.
"People who had wrangles with you and you were quarrelling a lot in a family, I think they didn't understand you as Walk. I don't know whether you didn't explain certain things to them but later Sylvia Owori. Thank you mummy come aah this one, you know when you quarrel with a person and the person do not want to quarell and she keeps telling me my brother one day you will realize that am not bad, so this sister of mine kept telling me things that I never believe but recently after realising she has been repeating the same thing meaning she wanted us to work together which it's a good idea." - He said.
Bosmic Otim added that he thinks those who were fighting Walk didn't understand the reason why Walk was formed.
He urged the leaders in the organisation to work with trust so that their grandchildren also benefit from the initiative.
"Now working together involves a lot of things, let us create that atmosphere of trust. If we are going to trust each other then definitely West Nile, Acholi, Lango and Karamoja is going to be a very big thing not only for us even for our grandchildren. All I beg is that it has started well with good intentions and should not change in future.'' - he concluded
The West Nile, Acholi, Lango and Karamoja (Walk) is now standing strong today all because of madam Sylvia Owori Damalie's tireless effect for the creatives.
