The Ugandan entertainment scene was thrown into mourning Thursday, June, 5 as veteran renowned deejay, DJ Bush Baby real name Michael Benjamin Owor passed away.
As Ugandans continue to mourn DJ Bush Baby, Tempra Omona, a legendary musician recounted his recent meeting with DJ Bush Baby, stating that he didn't know it was their last meeting together.
He wrote;
RIP brother... We planned our meeting for months .. Finally did last week Tuesday @ The Gardens in Najjera...
We put together a huge exciting project 3 of us (Ofcourse its gone with you now).
All I can say is I was tired, honestly didn't want to go all the way to Najjera, Andrew dragged me BUT am glad I did.
My heart for the longest wanted to ask this question "WHAT IS WRONG?" not that it could have made a difference, nor am I a solver of issues or a predictor/foretelling etc .just intuitive. Coz I knew u more than most people.
As we sipped African tea, the question came back again but i said i will ask another time in another setting, kumbe it would be our last time to meet, I wish I asked. Now I will consume speculations forever.
BYE brother.
