Controversial musician, content creator and TikToker King Jah Fire, in coordination with Lamson UG and with support from Emis Mind Co. Ltd, on Thursday, 6th August 2026, donated basins to pregnant mothers at Kitgum Government Hospital.
According to Lamson UG, the coordinator of the Rastafarian Foundation, the donation started with pregnant mothers of Kitgum Government Hospital.
He added that in the near future they hope to expand the initiative to reach other hospitals and the wider community.
"We started with the pregnant mothers, but we hope that in the near future we will be able to reach out to other hospitals and the wider community." - Lamson stated.
King Jah Fire, through his Rastafarian Foundation, said the initiative comes from the heart to assist their people.
He expressed honour at being given the opportunity by his doctor and OB to give back to the pregnant mothers.
Jah Fire noted that having grown up in Kitgum, they felt it right to support Kitgum mothers, sisters, and girlfriends. He emphasized that the donation was not political, but an act done from the heart to help their people.
"I am so honoured today that my doctor and OB has given me the opportunity to give back to our community. I grew up in Kitgum, and that is why we thought of coming out for our Kitgum mothers, sisters, and girlfriends. This is not politics. We are doing it from the heart to assist our people," - Jah Fire said.
The Kitgum Government Hospital management congratulated Jah Fire for supporting the mothers, whom they described as vulnerable people.
