The Kitgum Magistrate Court handling the case between musician Bosmic Otim and KD Kristo Hammer scheduled the trial to begin on August 4, 2026 during a session held on July 21, 2026.
Bosmic Otim was granted cash bail of UGX 2 million by Magistrate Robert Ekirita on July 21, 2026, after he was remanded for allegedly causing grievous bodily harm to fellow artist KD Kristo Hammer.
Prosecution alleges that on May 3, 2026, at Corner Mission in Kitgum Municipality, Otim unlawfully caused grievous harm to Okello.
Bosmic Otim was released after presenting five sureties who include: Hon. Gilbert Olanya, Member of Parliament for Kilak South, Amuru District; Benard Ocaya, LCI Chairperson of Langalanga Cell, Kitgum Municipality; Magrate Adong, Otim’s wife; Alex Ojera, musician popularly known as Murugut; and Felix Odida, Otim’s maternal uncle.
