Grief and sorrow has swept over the people of Gulu following the untimely death of Gulu District Agricultural officer, Mr Jackson Lakor who was on his way to Kampala for the official duties.
Patrick Jimmy Okema, the police spokesperson for North Kyoga, stated that their investigation indicates Lakor, driving a Toyota Hilux (UG 2785A), lost control and allegedly hit a parked trailer (SSD 326V/ZE 0238 Mercedes Benz Actros) at Minakulu Upper Centre on the Kamdini-Gulu Highway around 3:20 pm (1520 hrs).
He confirmed that Mr Lakor died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision. May his soul rest in peace.
