Police in Gulu City are holding an unidentified man for allegedly beating to death his 11 year old daughter over shillings 10,000.
The accused in his mid 30s was angry because his daughter took the money without their permission.
The incident occurred in Laroo Forest cell, Pece-Laroo Division, Gulu City on March 7, 2025 at around 10pm.
It's alleged that the suspect attacked his daughter with a stick and a metal bar after an argument over the money she allegedly took without permission, according to the stepmother's account.
According to reports, the girl was found dead by the landlord as the suspects attempted to flee.
