Celebrated gospel singer and producer Kilama Richard, known as 2GB Pro, is mourning the sudden death of his father, Komakech Jimmy, aged 62.
News of his father’s death was announced via the WALK Creative Arts Foundation WhatsApp group.
Speaking to the “Atye Ki Gen” hitmaker, he confirmed his father passed away Thursday morning.
According to 2GB Pro, his father showed no signs of illness but was found dead, seated on a chair in his living room at around 9:00 AM in Cuk Pa Lujweru, Pece Vanguard, Laroo-Pece Division. He has not disclosed the cause of death.
Burial preparations are ongoing, with daily meetings being held at his home in Cuk Pa Lujweru. He will be laid to rest on May 9, 2026, in Awere, Omoro District.
2GB Pro said police visited the home and his father’s body was taken to the 4th Infantry Division Barracks Mortuary in Gulu.
