Uganda's prominent comedian Patrick Salvado Idringi the self proclaimed man from Ombokolo has stamped himself a radio gigs after being off airwaves for years due to his skyrocketing comedy career.
He has decided to put some of his eggs in another basket by joining one of the biggest radio stations in the country.
Patrick Salvado on Wednesday 10th June confirmed on social media that he’s joining Sanyu FM on a program called the ‘Break fast show‘ that starts on Monday till Friday from 6am - 10am.
“Tomorrow I start a new journey with my new family at @88.2sanyufm – the Breakfast Show – Mon to Fri – 6am - 10am ” Patrick Salvador confirmed.
This morning, he wrote on his Facebook page that he is proud to be part of Sanyu FM.
A journey of 1000 miles starts with one step. Proud to be part of the @88.2sanyufm family … I’ll only get better .. that I KNOW . thanks for the love showed on my first show,’he said this morning.
Salvador replaced the long term serving radio presenter best known as Fat Boy aka James Onen who was fired for allegedly holding sit down stricke over salary rotation at the radio.
It should be noted that this is not the first time the comedian working on media stations, he once worked for Capital Fm but quit due to his busy schedule among others reasons.
