Over 70 desperate promoters from central Uganda were reportedly sent away from Gen Salim Saleh's home in Gulu City.
The group is said to have come to meet the General without appointment and decided to camp outside his residence in Bardege-Layibi Division near the Airfield between Friday and Saturday.
It is alleged that the promoters had come to demand for their share of the UGX 5 billion meant for creatives which Gen Salim Saleh had promised the creative.
They claim to have proof that the money was channeled through Uganda National Musicians Federation led by Eddy Kenzo but they haven't received a single coin as events organizers.
Last year in December, Gen Salim Saleh warned and chased away musicians from coming to him in the name of begging for financial support, stating that they are disrupting his peace and work.
