Opiyo Geoffrey Twongweno has revealed the date and venue for his concert dubbed "20 Years of Lakubukubu music' for next year.
Opiyo Twongweno has always released songs for weddings, birthday parties, funerals and has also travelled across the world to export and entertain people with the music genre.
He will be celebrating 20 years of singing the music genre (lakubukubu) which has become one of the biggest identity of the Luo people across the universe.
The music pioneer has announced that the concert will happen on 15th March 2025 at Pece War Memorial Stadium.
Opiyo who has stayed relevant in the music industry for many years is expected to thrill his fans with some of his biggest songs that include; Malakwang, Ka Inongo Gipe, Lok Ot Ringe Ku, Adigi Gina Diya among many others.
