Desire Diana Amviko, a 20 year old Makerere University Student and also Miss Uganda North has lost the Miss Uganda 2023/24 battle to Hannah Karema Tumukunde.
It is unfortunate that Desire who was pretty sure of becoming the next Miss Uganda for Northern Uganda didn't even make it to the top 5 after all the struggle.
However, many of her fans via her Whatsapp group have raised concerns that the queen was cheated.
Tumukunde is a 20 year old newly crowned Miss Uganda hailing from Nakaseke, Central Uganda.
Cindy Sanyu's sister Whitney Ademun takes the 1st Runners Up position as Premah Agwang is the 2nd Runners Up.
Tumukunde won a Toyota wish and she will represent Uganda at the Miss World competition in Dubai. The 1st runner up and 2nd runner up won scholarship.
The ceremony took place on Saturday 18th March, 2023 from UMA Multipurpose hall in Kampala.
