The Lango Entertainment Awards 2020 (LEA20) organizers have announced that the prestigious awards ceremony will be going virtual due Covid-19 restrictions.
According to statement by the organizers, they decided to hold the grand finale of the earlier postponded award ceremony both on radio and Facebook.
"We have however resolved to hold award ceremony on air and online. We will therefore have the official award on Saturday 13,02,2021 @8pm. The event will be live on various social media platforms including our official Facebook page. We'll as well be live on 97.7 Unity Fm Lira.'' said organizers
The earlier postponded annual awards ceremony has been slated to take place on Saturday 13th Feb, 2021
"We'd like to extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who has supported us in various ways since official launch of #LEA20. A lot has since happened. we have released officially list of nominees and voting has been on going. we tried to engage with the security in order to see ways of holding an event; however small world be, but we failed due to the current situation of Covid-19.'"
Meanwhile, the voting will end today's Wednesday 10th February 2021 at exactly 11:59 pm both online and SMS.
