In a determined effort to curb the high unemployment problem among young mothers in Queen Parish, Laroo-Pece Division.
The area Member of Parliament, Rev. Fr. Onen Charles donated fifteen modern sewing machines to aid their skill for a more sustained source of life and livelihood.
The donation came in after several mothers visited his office in search of support and he offered to lend a hand.
Fr Onen Charles made the donation in a bud to help empower the vulnerable children mothers with occupational skills which he says will help them manage their lives.
''I don't want your children to put on the same shoes you people are wearing as queen mothers.'' Fr. Onen Said.
He also pledged to support them by renting for them a fully furnished work space inside the main market where the training will be conducted.
He argues them to form an association that will comprise of the most needy single mothers among others.
This according to him will create sustainable opportunities for communities through value-added skills.
