Prominent sports commentator, radio presenter and music analyst, Alexander Okidi has come out and challenged Pato Loverboy and Eddy Wizzy.

He however advised the two music giants to look into investment rather than buying cars and bragging on social media.

He further explained that the two artists should build houses and set up businesses for their family.

Below is his statement urging the two musical icons:

Eddy Wizzy and Pato Loverboy  are like Lionel Messi and Christiano Ronaldo.

Fans will argue about who is the best but they will never have a conclusion..

The biggest similarity I love about them is the ability to write meaningful lyrics that last forever..They are not the artists whose songs fade after a week.

I can randomly pick and play any of Pato Loverboy or Eddy Wizzy old songs and they are still appealing to my audiences e.g Weng Nono,Konye Pe,Gwok Lebi,Akem Kwene to mention but a few.

Just like Jose Chameleon, Pato Loverboy and Eddy will continue to earn money from the old good songs because of the quality and the messages in the songs that will remain relevant forever.

Jose Chameleon and his songs never grow old and our two brothers are also moving in the same direction..Music is not all about releasing new songs every month.A good artist who produces quality music should release not more than three songs in a year.

Music is not only for leisure or business, but also one of the ways of teaching people..The late Lucky dube died but his music last forever..He fought for peace in South Africa through music

Finally,I want to challenge Eddy Wizzy and Loverboy to grow beyond buying cars and bragging about it on social media..That is a small achievement for young boys..You are now big and you should dream big.

Build houses, set up businesses for your family.Creative art is the most lucrative business, use the talent to rewrite your story.
Alexander Okidi.
