Police in Mpigi district have arrested a witchdoctor, Jajja Ivan Muwanga for allegedly abducting and sacrificing over 12 children so that he can appease his spirits and gain more spiritual powers.
According to reports, Muwanga, a resident of Kamengo was caged after a failed attempt to kidnap another child identified as Proscovia Nassazi who resisted and narrowly ran away while making an alarm which attracted the attention of her parents.
Upon reporting the matter to authorities, Muwanga was arrested and a search at his shrines began and over 15 skulls of humans, fresh blood stains were found inside the shrines including a lifeless body of man in a suit that he buried inside his shrine.
Residents say Muwanga has always been organizing parties at his shrines and inviting residents to eat and drink but little did they know his aim of organising constant parties.
