Lawyer and Human Rights Defender Stella Kijange, also serving as Minister for Youth and Culture at Ker Kwaro Acholi, has been enrolled as an advocate at the High Court of Uganda.

The Law Council conducted the enrollment, granting her full rights to practice law and represent Ugandans in courts.

To become an advocate, one must hold a law degree, complete a diploma in legal practice from the Law Development Centre (LDC), and register a certified law firm.

Kijange shared her excitement on Facebook: 'I have been called to the Bar today. This milestone marks a calling and commitment to serving my community diligently.'"

The ceremony took place on February 13, 2026 at the Judiciary Headquarters in Kampala.

The former Nwoya District Woman MP aspirant now joins the estimated group of professionals ready to serve citizens.
