Northern Uganda is mourning the loss of young producer Opala Simon Peter aka Drizzy on the truck, who passed away in Juba, South Sudan, due to severe illness.
He reportedly died from complications related to ulcers, typhoid, and pressure, just a day after finishing a production project.
Drizzy had traveled from Kitgum to Juba on Tuesday and succumbed to his illness on Thursday.
His sudden death has left Northern Uganda's music fraternity in mourning, highlighting how his dreams for the entertainment industry have been cut short.
Plans are underway to transport his body back to Uganda for burial at his ancestral home in Padibe.
Given the circumstances, it's clear South Sudan's healthcare challenges, like limited access to quality medical care has always been harsh.
