A group of dancehall artists have accused Hon Gilbert Olanya of using them and failing to pay for their services during his campaigns. They claim he stops answering their calls after the campaigns, despite his promises.

Walk Creative Arts Foundation Chairman Solomon Aboda aka Badman Solo, who was present at the media address, described Hon Gilbert Olanya as a 'camera MP' who manipulates artists and doesn't pay them.

The artists who claim they weren't paid after campaigning for Hon Gilbert Olanya in the recent general election include Badman Jelly G, Doggy Kizz, Zetive, Kamuzu Urban Niga, and Bozeman Taliban.

They are disappointed and dissatisfied with Hon Gilbert Olanya's response – or lack of it.

Doggy Kizz lamented that their music business in Amuru has suffered because they over-performed for free, and now locals are tired of seeing them, scrupling potential promoters.

Badman Jelly G stated that the legislator promised him the world during his campaign, but hasn't paid him a single cent despite composing his campaign song.
