A Mukome bus travelling from Kampala to Gulu was involved in a traffic accident early Sunday morning after it knocked into a stationary trailer in Nakasongola.
The bus, reportedly en route to Gulu, sustained significant damage. No fatalities were recorded; however, several passengers sustained injuries and were rushed to nearby hospitals.
Authorities are yet to issue an official statement as investigations into the cause of the accident continue.
