Uganda's music sensation Jae Chris, born Ojae Christopher has embarked on a transformative journey after three years, redefining his artistic identity and embracing a new stage name: 'Ichaka'.
It seems the superstar had been making calculative moves behind the scene before his return as he officially dropped a brand new single titled Nyalum, which means the daughter of "Olum'', Olum means, the bushman.
According to Jae Chris, he had to rebrand to Ichaka because it was his middle name and a name after his grandfather, Odur Ichaka of Amilo in Ibuje sub-county Apac District.
Despite his being off the music scene due his personal role, Ichaka has once again proven he is still one of the biggest entertainers in the game.
Jae Chris now Ichaka, real name Ojae Christopher, is a known video producer, editor, and graphic designer who worked for several media houses like WBS TV before its collapse in 2016, Media Plus and UBC TV among others.
Ichaka once a dreadlock artist has collaborated with artists such as Mambo onestar, Mr.Dee, Rock Mc e.t.c.
