The fallen Speaker of Ugandan Parliament, Jacob Oulanyah has left behind multi billions unfinished mansion in his home village in Omoro District.
Oulanyah passed away at a hospital in Seattle, USA on March 20 where he was battling an unknown illness but according to his father Mr Nathan, his son told him that he was poisoned by unknown woman.
The late Jacob Oulanyah is known as a person who enjoys life and has taste for good stuff and believe me the Speaker was building one of the most expensive mansion in Uganda.
The late Speaker of Ugandan Parliament, Rt Hon. Jacob Oulanyah was constructing a perfect multi billion dollars retirement home in Lalogi.
Oulanyah, who has been speaker for less than a year, served as deputy speaker for 10 years. He has been in Parliament since 2001.
An eloquent speaker, Oulanyah chaired the legal and parliamentary affairs committee that controversially recommended the removal of term limits that allowed President Museveni to stand again in 2006.
For the next five years, Oulanyah never got along well with Kadaga, who hardly gave him a chance to preside over Parliament.
