Renowned Gulu City based comedian who doubles as police constable Akena Peter alias Bouncer Wod Paibona has been reportedly arrested on Monday evening at around 6:00 pm on allegations of losing his AK47 Rifle from his home in Goan’s quarter Cell Bar-dege-Layibi division in Gulu city.
Bouncer of the famous Paibona and alero comedy duos and Escort to Gulu district Local Council Five Chairperson Ojara Martine Mapenduzi is currently being detained at Gulu Central Police.
Jimmy Patrick Okema, the Aswa River Region Police Spokesperson has confirmed the report saying the officer went and reported the case at Gulu Central Police Station where he was then detained.
Okema said the suspects claimed that his gun was stolen from his home by unknown people at an unknown time and the Gun has a registration number No. UG POL 84MA1790- 22655 with 30 rounds of ammunition.
Okema adds that an investigation has been launched into the matter and finding ways to recover the stolen gun from their officer as he claims.
