Gulu City top businessman and City Mayoral aspirant Okwonga Alfred has earlier today morning arrested for criticizing the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) after his nomination for Gulu City Mayor.
According to a report, Okwong Alfred has been detained with some of his team members at Gulu Central police on allegations of faulting SOP's while leading a ceremony in the streets of Gulu city in a convoy of 10 vehicles.
He was arrested a few minutes after he was declared nominated by the Electoral Commission registrar, Obete Benson.
It should be noted that Okwonga Alfred will be facing George Aligech Lapiir, Robert Mugabe, Omoya Patrick among others for the city mayoral office come 2021.
