After showing her intentions to contest for Lamwo East Constituency seat, musician turned politician Lalam Irene alias Liama has decided to quit for Gulu District Woman MP.
It should be noted that as the 2021 general elections loom nearer, several politicians are shifting goal posts by switching from one party to another, with the hope of willing position they will be contesting for, while others are switching location of district where to compete from
Liama will be tussling out for Gulu District Woman MP seat come 2021 with a veteran woman member of parliament and leader for the opposition, Betty Aol Ocean among other politicians who are eyeing the same seat in 2021.
Liama declared that she has changed her plan to contest for Gulu District Woman MP seat not Lamwo East seat now on her social media platforms on Tuesday morning.

Today I come to you not only as a Muscian, but also as your sister and a friend informing you officially that I am contesting for Gulu District Woman MP in the 2021 General Elections. I am sure some of you who saw my previous post may be surprised to see this of which I completely understand you."
