Acholi paramount chief, Rwot David Onen Acana 11 has finally made his way back home from UK after he has been held up in the UK for over 4months.
Rwot David Onen Acana 11 who was stranded in the UK following a worldwide lockdown in a bid to curb the spread of coronavirus pandemic boarded a flight on Wednesday 1st July to return to his motherland.
According to close sources, Rwot David Onen Acana 11 landed at Entebbe international airport on Thursday 2rd July at 5pm where he was welcomed by the chiefdoms prime minister and other government officials.
It should be remembered that Rwot David Onen Acana 11 who heads the Acholi Chiefdoms travelled to London for personal business in March before the breakouts of the deadly pandemic virus. He was scheduled to grace an Acholi convention but got caught up when countries including the UK started to lockdowns, and flights in and outside the country banned.
The ban came at the height of the Coronavirus pandemic, which has been spreading around the world like wildfire, infecting up to 5 million people and killing millions more.
