The Gulu District Roads Committee has kicked off inspections of major roads across the district as plans for rehabilitation gain momentum.
Led by committee chairperson Hon. Obol Justin Simpleman, the team included RDC Tumwesigye, Secretary for Works Hon. Balington, Gulu District Woman MP Hon. Ayoo Phoebe Obol, and Aswa County MP Hon. Okello Patrick Onguti, also Shadow Minister for Local Government.
They assessed key roads to identify priority areas for intervention. Leaders later assured residents that rehabilitation works will start soon, targeting improved connectivity, easier transport, and stronger socio-economic growth in Gulu District.
