A shocking new video released by Ugandan opposition leader Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine highlights alleged election irregularities in Uganda.
The footage reportedly shows Electoral Commission officials marking ballots in favor of President Yoweri Museveni, according to Bobi Wine.
He calls the election a stolen vote and urges Ugandans to reclaim their voice peacefully.
This video provides an overview of the claims, eyewitness reports, and the unfolding Uganda election crisis, offering context on the current political situation and the voices of Ugandans demanding fair representation.
President Yoweri Museveni was declared president-elect after defeating NUP leader Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, aka Bobi Wine, securing 7,946,772 votes (71.65% of the total) and Bobi Wine got 24.72% of the vote, roughly 2.7 million votes.
Bobi Wine has however rejected the results, alleging massive ballot stuffing and abduction of his polling agents. He's currently in hiding after security forces raided his home.
Bobi Wine took to his social media platforms: "Video showing Electoral Commission officials ticking all ballot papers in favor of Museveni at a polling station in western Uganda;' ''This is what Museveni and his criminal system call an election! We campaigned. We voted. We tried to protect our vote but the criminals arrested or abducted many of our agents and officials. The only recourse is for the PEOPLE OF UGANDA to reclaim their voice. That is why we called this a PROTEST VOTE. Please keep those videos coming in, and all other evidence of the theft that took place on the 15th. #FreeUgandaNow.
