Former National Unity Platform (NUP) Spokesperson for Northern Uganda Caesar Lubangakene has officially stepped down and pulled out of the party.
Lubangakene stated his primary reason is to dedicate time to pursuing his PhD and fulfilling other personal commitments.
While addressing the media, he firmly stated that this significant decision was made independently, without any external influence.
Lubangakene previously contested the Member of Parliament seat for Pece-Laroo division in 2021 and was recently nominated to run was nominated as an independent candidate for the same position. This withdrawal marks his full departure from the NUP party.
