A group of Gulu City youth, led by a renowned events emcee Tekwo Reagan alias Mc Young Moni have defaced the NUP presidential candidate Bobi Wine's campaign posters ahead of his campaign trail in Gulu,including the one of NUP flag bearer for Gulu district woman member of parliament seat Lalam Irene aka Liama.
In a viral video which has sparked tension on social media, Mc Young Moni is heard commanding his gang to remove all the Bobi Wine's posters in the streets of Gulu City.
Reports claim Mc Young who is the ring leader of the ghetto youth in Gulu City is among the few creatives and musicians in Northern Uganda allegedly being paid with taxpayer money to oppose Bobi Wine.
He is also heard in the video saying "tic wa enu" which literally means "That's our work" "Just go on and tear/remove all." This incident highlights the intense political dynamics in Uganda, particularly during election seasons.
