The Secretary General of NRM Hon. Toodwong Richard has assured to work with Acholi sub-region artists during President Museveni's visit to all the districts within region giving them a chance to smile.
This comes a few days after Eezzy and Judah Rapknowledge Da Akabar expressed their disappointment, accusing Hon. Toodwong for not giving them or other Northern Uganda artists performance deals during the ongoing NRM campaigns in Northern Uganda rather than giving it to Central artists like Jose Chameleone.
Hon Toodwong on Friday, 10 October had to put a big smile on faces of these artists after inviting them to his house and promised to work together with them during President Museveni's campaign visit to Acholi sub-region.
President Museveni will kick start his campaign activities in all the districts in Acholi sub-region on October, 21, 2025 starting with Nwoya District.
"These are the artists, they are waiting for the visit of H.E the President in Acholi sub-region and we are starting with Nwoya on 21, October 2025 and we shall go to all the districts in Acholi sub-region. We love the president and NRM and they are (artists) here to support the president in his campaign and to stand with him and sing songs for the development and for protecting the gain of the government of Uganda." - Hon. Richard Toodwong said.
