Wokober Education Foundation has launched its 4th Edition of Wokober Toy and Innovation Festival 2025.
Ben Wokober, the Executive Director at Wokober Education Foundation, while speaking at the launch last week (Friday 3rd October), highlighted the initiative's significance.
"At Wokober what we really do is to nurture the next generation of African Innovators, entrepreneurs and leaders we shall transform our community. We started in 2022, with one of our flagship programmes called Wokober Toy and Innovation Festival. This programme actually aims at giving platform for our children."
According to Ben, the foundation started with only 69 participants but of now they are having 155 participate.
"Right from 2022, we started with 69 participants as of today we have had almost 155 participate but of course challenges here and there some time resources but we grateful for the milestone that we have reached to date."
He appealed to parents with children and want them to become next Innovators, entrepreneur and leaders of tomorrow to register them for their programme.
This year's theme is: ''Nurturing My Child's Creativity, their Limitless Future.''
The foundation aims to foster creativity, innovation, and self-development among children, particularly through its annual flagship event, the Wokober Toy and Innovation Festival which was launched in 2022.
The event will be taking on 12th-13th December 2025 at Elephante Commons, Gulu City (Jomo Kenyatta Road).
Who can participate?
Children and youth aged 3–25 years who love to create, build, and explore through toy making and innovation all guided by this year’s theme: Innovate. Collaborate. Elevate.
