After dropping out of 2026 presidential race, Democratic Party (DP) president general, Norbert Mao, has expressed interest to run for Pece-Larooo member of parliament seat in 2026.
Hon Norbert Mao who is also Minister for Justice and Constitutional Affairs will now be locking horns with incumbent Fr. Charles Onen and NRM's Tonny Kitara.
Reactions to Mao’s announcement have been mixed as many saying he is just creating tension.
While the allegation to take on the speakership role stands, Mao is leveling ground to mull Anita Annet Among.
