The burial programme for the late Teddy Claire Apili, the celebrated UBC radio presenter has been released by her family and friends.
Teddy Claire Apili, the prominent radio presenter was born October 1, 1984 and passed away on September 30, 2025.
She died on September 30, 2025 from Trinity's International Hospital, Seeta where she was admitted for treatment. She died of breast cancer which she battled for five years.
On Monday October, 6 2025, her body will leave the mortuary for her residence in Seeta Bajjo, Jomayi Estate, Memory Lane for official virgil and viewing.
On Tuesday October 07 2025, her body will therefore be transported to Oyam District and on October 8th 2025, her remains will be laid to rest in Minakulu, Oyam District.
Teddy was a professional journalist, Human Right Activist, an environmentalist and also the founder of Claire Music Empire which comprised of artists like Mr Dee Ug, Jay Murphy Atin Ker, and Mr Berry.
While working at UBC, Teddy played a crucial role in the development of Northern Uganda entertainment industry.
