Police Constable Isaac Amoni, 27, has been sentenced to serve 35 years in jail after being found guilty of brutal murder by the High Court in Lira.
Amoni was found guilty of killing his spouse Harriet Acen, 27, by inserting a stick into her private parts after rejecting his love advances.
The deceased was found lying dead in a garden half naked and with stick inserted into her private parts.
