Tragic- At least 14 worshipers were killed and dozens injuried when lightning struck a church during a downpour on Saturday, 2nd November 2024.
Most of the victims reportedly died instantly when lightning hit the church in Palabek Refugee settlement, Zone 8 Block 2 in Lamwo District.
34 victims were rushed to Paluda Health Center III where they are receiving treatment.
According to reports, the majority of the victims were the Nuer tribe of South Sudan.
