Acholi in the diaspora are regretting rendering support to celebrated musician turned politician Bosmic Otim while he was in a self imposed exile.
Kilak South MP Hon. Gilbert Olanya in a viral video revealed that he has been receiving many calls from abroad since Bosmic Otim made a u-turn to the ruling government.

Olanya believes Bosmic didn't leave Uganda to escape trouble like he claimed. Instead, he thinks Bosmic left as part of a secret plan by the government. Olanya suggests Bosmic's job wasn't to seek refuge but to spy on Ugandan dissidents who fled the country out of fear for their safety.
The outspoken legislator said his prophecy on Bosmic has come to pass, he added Bosmic Otim was used by the top government officials to identify some of the Acholi people who are abroad and within who still want to fight this government by the use of guns.
"I don't know all the details, but something about Bosmic's return smells fishy. It feels like there's more to the story than meets the eye. Olanya's suspicions are worth paying attention to because they make us wonder about Bosmic's real intentions and what it means for Uganda's politics."
The legislator stated that this idea makes sense when you think about how tough it is for Uganda's security people to keep an eye on dissidents outside the country. They've probably run out of secret agents who haven't been caught. So, it's possible they're using new faces, like Bosmic, to pretend to be opposition supporters while actually working for the government.
